Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Gurugram for a Contract Lead. The role involves drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts, managing all aspects of the contract life cycle, conducting legal research, and supporting litigation processes. Key responsibilities include drafting legal motions, preparing for depositions, and handling court proceedings. The candidate will collaborate with a dynamic legal team to deliver solutions for clients' diverse needs, including international trade agreements and cross-border transactions.
Qualifications
- Expertise in contract law, including drafting, reviewing, vetting, and negotiating contracts
- Proficiency in legal research, writing motions, and preparing for depositions
- Familiarity with court processes, proceedings, and legal documentation
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail
- Ability to work collaboratively and handle multiple tasks effectively under deadlines
- LLB or equivalent degree with relevant bar admission is required
- Exposure to international trade and cross-border transactions is a plus
- Prior experience in a corporate legal or litigation role is required
