Job Overview
We have a vacancy in our busy, friendly Legal Section for a proactive, enthusiastic lawyer to provide advice across a broad range of Council functions, focusing mainly on contracts (including planning agreements) and local authority licensing.
Responsibilities
Manage a varied and busy caseload in a timely manner and communicate effectively with officers and councillors.
Qualifications
- Qualified solicitor, barrister or chartered legal executive.
- Preferred: previous experience in contract law, planning agreements, local authority licensing.
- Desirable: local government experience.
- Open to newly-qualified applicants; training and supervision will be provided.
