Lawyer

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Lawyer role based in İstanbul. The Lawyer will handle a portfolio of client matters related to Turkish and international law, including drafting and reviewing contracts, legal memoranda, and pleadings. Daily responsibilities include conducting legal research, analyzing case law and regulations, preparing legal opinions, and participating in client meetings. The role involves coordinating with colleagues across practice areas, managing case timelines, and supporting negotiations and dispute resolution. The Lawyer is expected to maintain high ethical standards, keep accurate documentation, and contribute to continuous improvement of internal legal processes.

Qualifications

Strong legal research, analysis, and drafting skills, with the ability to prepare clear contracts, memoranda, and court submissions.

Excellent client communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to explain complex legal issues in a practical, accessible way.

Proficiency in written and spoken English and Turkish; additional languages are an advantage.

Ability to manage multiple matters simultaneously, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

High level of professional integrity, ethical judgment, and attention to detail in all aspects of legal work.

Law degree from an accredited institution and admission to the bar in Türkiye

Prior experience in law firms or corporate legal departments working on litigation, corporate, or commercial law is preferred.
