About the job
As a Lawyer, you will be part of Attica Bank’s in-house legal team by providing comprehensive legal advice to internal stakeholders, collaborating closely with the bank’s commercial, product and compliance teams as well as with external advisors, you will address a spectrum of legal matters with precision and expertise. The ideal candidate should possess expertise in Commercial Law and Corporate Law as well as knowledge in Banking & Finance and Capital Markets, alongside a problem-solving attitude.
Responsibilities:
Offer expert legal guidance in Corporate and Commercial law domains
Draft and meticulously review a variety of agreements
Provide insightful advice on matters pertaining to corporate financing
Conduct thorough research to anticipate legal issues and protect the bank from potential legal risks
Offer consultation and handle commercial law issues
Work closely with internal commercial, product and compliance divisions, alongside external advisors, to handle with diverse legal challenges effectively.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Law from a prestigious Greek university
Master’s Degree in Banking and/or Finance will be considered an asset
Admission to the Athens Bar Association is mandatory
Excellent command of the English language
PC and MS Office literacy
Exceptional interpersonal, communication, organizational and negotiation skills
A business-oriented mindset with ability to excel both independently and within a team setting
Demonstrated capacity to thrive in a fast-paced environment, manage heavy workloads and meet stringent deadlines.
Professional Experience:
Minimum of 10 years of relevant professional experience as a qualified lawyer, gained either an in-house position or in a distinguished Greek law firm.
