I’m looking for an experienced Lawyer to join my legal team at Ansher Capital – a leading investment banking company in Uzbekistan.

Role Description
As part of Ansher Capital’s legal team, a Lawyer is expected to:
Provide legal advice and support in investment banking transactions;
Draft
and review legal documents, including corporate agreements, documents pertaining to securities (such as offering memorandums and others);
Prepare/assist in preparing legal memos, law reviews, sector-specific legal digests;
Provide legal advice and support in the Company’s internal affairs.
Qualifications
Higher legal education
International legal qualifications are a plus
Experience in corporate law
Experience in drafting and analysing complex legal documentation in English, Russian and Uzbek
Legal research, writing, and analysis skills
Fluency in Uzbek, Russian and English (oral and written)
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Previous experience in investment banking or financial services sector is a plus
Practical experience in supporting transactions with corporate securities, M&A transactions, financing transactions and issuance of debt instruments is highly desirable.

We work with some of the most well-known companies in Uzbekistan and are helping them scale their businesses – many of the transactions we’re working on are a first for the Uzbek market.
The office is located in the Mirzo Ulugbek district near IT Park.
We have an internal cook so you don’t have to worry about your meals, and plenty of coffee shops nearby – apart from our own coffee station.
