Lawyer Jobs in United Kingdom at Juno

Title: Lawyer

Company: Juno

Location: United Kingdom

Residential Property Lawyer

Juno is a law firm for the digital age. We’re on a mission to transform the experience of buying and selling a home, by making conveyancing simpler, clearer and faster for everyone.

For too long, conveyancing has been confusing, slow and not focused on the client experience. With our proprietary technology and our talented team, we’re out to change this.

For this role we’re recruiting both qualified lawyers and experienced, non-qualified conveyancers. See “you should apply if” section below for more details.

Juno makes conveyancing simpler, clearer and faster

Juno is a modern law firm specialising in residential conveyancing and operating throughout England and Wales.

We complete thousands of sale, purchase and remortgage transactions each year, and we’re trusted with panel membership by 80+ mortgage lenders.

We’re rated as one of the best conveyancing firms in the UK by our clients (4.9/5 on Trustpilot) and estate agents and brokers frequently tell us how much they enjoy working with us.

We’ve built our own software in-house. Clients can do all their conveyancing online, and always know what’s going on.

This has allowed us to optimise the process and complete transactions 50% faster than the average law firm.

What you’ll do in this role

Work with your team to deliver top class conveyancing to our clients, working on freehold and leasehold sale and purchase transactions

Spend more time solving complex legal problems, and let our software handle the boring and repetitive admin tasks

Provide mentorship and guidance to less experienced team members of your team and learn from the more experienced

Help our in-house designers and software developers to plan, test and release improvements to the software you’re using every day

Find and implement proactive, risk-based solutions to speed up transactions for our clients

Advise clients by phone and email about the more complex elements of their case

You should apply if

You’re either a Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer or Legal Executive with 3+ years post-qualification experience in UK residential conveyancing, or you haven’t qualified and have 5+ years experience working on UK residential conveyancing transactions with minimal day-to-day supervision

You communicate in a clear and simple way that makes sense to clients and avoids legal jargon

You have outstanding technical skills and strong knowledge of UK residential conveyancing

You enjoy working as part of a team and collaborating with others to achieve shared goals for clients

You enjoy working with others to identify and implement process improvements, covering both quality and throughput goals

You’ve an open and curious mind, you’re passionate about the intersection of law and technology, and what we are doing here at Juno excites you!

This is a work-from-home role with normal full-time working hours between 9am-6pm, Monday to Friday. We’ve happy to offer flexibility on the hours you work, as long as it suits you and your team.
