We are an international automotive trading group operating across 12 markets and representing several well-established brands. Here, Legal is not a function operating in the background — it is a business partner and an integral part of decision-making.
For our Ljubljana office, we are looking for a Legal Counsel who will become a trusted business partner to management and, with the support and mentorship of our Regional Head of Legal, take ownership of cross-border legal matters.
What will you do?
- Draft, review and negotiate contracts for group companies across multiple markets
- Advise management on commercial, corporate and general business law matters
- Support the business in compliance matters, including GDPR and ZVOP-2
- Coordinate and manage external legal counsel across different countries
- Take ownership of cross-border legal matters and provide practical, business-oriented solutions
- Help shape the role and contribute to the further development of the Legal function
The role is diverse, international and hands-on, with plenty of room to make it your own.
What are we looking for?
- A completed law degree (Level VII)
- Excellent command of English; knowledge of Croatian and/or Serbian is an advantage
- A proactive, solution-oriented mindset — you don’t wait for instructions, you identify issues and propose solutions
- Previous experience in a business environment is an advantage, but we also encourage ambitious candidates with less experience to apply
- A valid Category B driving licence
