Perform technical evaluations including forensic analysis and design peer reviews for assessing constructability and sequencing, performance testing and instrumentation, quality control and quality assurance, bidding and contract administration, construction observations, material and building science.
Associate Attorney – Construction Defect
Note: This position is a hybrid work schedule for the Santa Ana, CA office. Associates with fewer than 2 years of experience are required to be in office close to full time or full time.

Job Description
Handle construction defect litigation matters from inception through trial with minimal supervision
Conduct discovery, site inspections, issue analysis, depositions, and settlement negotiations
Retain and work with expert witnesses for expert discovery
Independently manage court appearances, depositions, and hearings
Collaborate with a team to achieve client and firm goals
Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of construction defect experience
Minimum of 2 years of litigation experience
Strong litigation skills, including handling cases independently
Admission to the California Bar
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team
