About the Role
We are seeking a qualified and detail-oriented Legal Specialist fluent in both English and Chinese. The ideal candidate will possess strong legal knowledge and the ability to translate, draft, and review legal documents in both languages. This role supports bilingual legal consulting, research, compliance projects, education, and legal content development.
Key Responsibilities
Translate and localize legal documents, contracts, case studies, compliance materials, and academic texts between English and Chinese
Draft and review bilingual legal documents, policies, agreements, and reports
Support legal research projects, including case law analysis, regulatory updates, and comparative legal studies
Collaborate with legal teams, researchers, educators, and clients to ensure technical accuracy and linguistic clarity
Conduct bilingual workshops, webinars, or training sessions on legal topics
Ensure proper use of legal terminology and compliance with regional legal standards in both languages
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s or PhD’s degree in Law (LLB, JD, or equivalent)
Professional fluency in both English and Chinese (spoken and written)
Strong knowledge of legal systems, principles, and terminology
Excellent legal writing, editing, and translation skills in both languages
Ability to analyze complex legal documents and explain them to a broad audience
