Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Real Estate Data Analyst to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who is not only skilled in managing property data, but also has a strong aptitude for genealogical research and can build accurate family trees to trace heirs and ownership lines.

The right candidate will play a critical role in identifying viable property leads, compiling comprehensive owner profiles, and supporting acquisition strategies with well-documented data.

Key Responsibilities:

Research and input property data from pre-foreclosure and tax sale lists.
Track and verify ownership history, title changes, and deed records.
Perform genealogy research to trace heirs and next of kin for inherited or probate properties.
Build and maintain family trees related to property ownership.
Use public records, obituaries, genealogy databases (e.g., Ancestry, FamilySearch), and county databases.
Cross-reference multiple data sources to ensure accuracy.
Document findings and create detailed property and owner reports.
Assist in evaluating property acquisition potential based on research.

Requirements:

Proven experience in real estate data entry, title research, or property analysis.
Strong experience or interest in genealogical research.
Familiarity with county assessor and recorder websites, probate courts, and property tax records.
Proficient in Excel or Google Sheets; experience with CRM and data management tools is a plus.
Excellent research, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple property records.
Strong written communication skills to document findings clearly.
Must be self-motivated and able to work independently.

Preferred Qualifications:

Background in real estate investing, title abstracting, probate research, or paralegal work.
Experience using genealogy tools and online archives.
Knowledge of legal documents like wills, deeds, probate filings, and obituaries.
Experience with Skip Tracing is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 – $55,000.00 per year
