Job Description:
We are looking to hire highly motivated and skilled Senior Associates and Principal Associates for our General Corporate practice in Delhi. The ideal candidate will bring proven experience in Private Equity (PE), Venture Capital (VC), and Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) transactions.
You will work closely with senior partners and clients on complex domestic and cross-border deals, corporate structuring, shareholder agreements, due diligence, and investment documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and support corporate transactions including PE/VC funding and M&A deals
Draft and negotiate transaction documents
Conduct and supervise legal due diligence
Advise clients on company law, FEMA, SEBI, and related regulatory frameworks
Liaise with stakeholders including investors, promoters, in-house legal, and financial advisors
Mentor junior team members (for Principal Associate level)
Requirements:
LLB from a reputed law school
4–7 years (Senior Associate) / 7–10 years (Principal Associate) of post-qualification experience
Strong background in PE, VC, and M&A transactions
Excellent legal drafting and client advisory skills
Clear and confident communication; ability to manage client relationships independently
Prior experience at a Tier 1 or Tier 2 law firm is mandatory
