Job Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Paralegal with expertise in litigation. The ideal candidate will be capable of managing a variety of tasks with accuracy and professionalism, supporting attorneys through all stages of the litigation process and helping ensure efficient, organized, and successful outcomes for our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist attorneys in the preparation and management of litigation cases from pre-filing through trial and post-judgment proceedings.
Draft and format legal documents, including pleadings, motions, discovery requests and responses, subpoenas, and correspondence.
Organize and maintain case files and document databases, both electronic and hard copy.
Manage and track deadlines, court dates, and docketing requirements.
Coordinate with courts, clients, opposing counsel, and third parties.
Electronically file documents in New Hampshire state and federal courts in compliance with court-specific rules and procedures.
Support attorneys with deposition, mediation, and trial preparation.
Conduct legal research and assist in compiling materials for hearings and filings.
Qualifications:
Experience as a paralegal, with a focus on litigation.
Strong understanding of court rules, litigation procedures, and e-filing systems in New Hampshire state and federal courts.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal document management systems.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize workload under deadlines.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
