Qualifications:
Certified paralegal or at least 3 years of experience at a residential real estate law firm.
Strong knowledge of residential NYC real estate transactions, including purchases, sales, refinances, and leasing of co-ops, condos, single-family homes, and townhouses.
Must possess or be willing to obtain a Notary Public license.
Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist attorneys in all phases of residential real estate transactions.
Draft, review, and organize closing documents
Coordinate with attorneys, clients, lenders, brokers, and title companies to ensure seamless transactions.
Conduct title and lien reviews, addressing any issues as necessary.
Schedule and prepare for closings, ensuring all required documentation is complete and accurate.
Handle post-closing tasks, including recording documents and preparing closing binders.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $80,000.00 – $100,000.00 per year
