We are seeking a Business Analyst with Law Firm experience to support the adoption and implementation of AI-powered solutions within our law firm. This role will focus on gathering requirements from attorneys, legal professionals, and business stakeholders, translating business needs into AI solution specifications, and collaborating with IT teams to bring AI-driven efficiencies to legal workflows.
The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of AI technologies (such as ChatGPT and generative AI), excellent communication skills, and experience in business analysis within professional services, corporate environments, or technology-driven transformation projects. While experience in a law firm is a plus, it is not required.
Key Responsibilities:
Engage with attorneys, paralegals, and legal operations teams to identify opportunities where AI can enhance efficiency, research, document automation, and client service.
Conduct requirements gathering sessions and translate business needs into structured AI implementation roadmaps.
Develop business cases, functional requirements, and workflow models for AI applications in legal and business operations.
Collaborate with IT teams to ensure AI solutions are aligned with security, privacy, and compliance standards.
Research and recommend AI tools and vendors suited for legal workflows, such as contract review platforms, legal chatbots, and predictive analytics.
Provide guidance on AI governance, compliance, and ethical considerations to ensure responsible AI adoption.
Support user training, documentation, and change management to drive adoption and best practices across the firm.
Stay current with AI trends, legal industry developments, and emerging technologies to provide informed recommendations.
Qualifications & Experience:
Proven experience in business analysis, requirements gathering, and stakeholder engagement within a corporate, professional services, or technology-driven environment.
Strong understanding of AI applications, including ChatGPT, document automation, and AI-powered research tools.
Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business use cases and vice versa.
Experience collaborating with IT teams on AI implementation, security, and compliance considerations.
Excellent communication, facilitation, and documentation skills, with the ability to engage professionals unfamiliar with AI.
Preferred but not required: Familiarity with legal workflows, legal practice management systems, and AI-driven legal research tools.
