Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Legal Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will support attorneys in various areas of law, including estate planning, family law, and patent law. This role requires a strong understanding of legal processes and excellent organizational skills to ensure the smooth operation of our legal practice.
Duties
Assist attorneys with legal drafting and document preparation for various cases.
Manage case files using Clio software, ensuring all documents are organized and accessible.
Provide executive administrative support, including scheduling appointments and managing calendars.
Prepare for client interviews by gathering necessary documentation and information.
Assist in the preparation of legal documents as required.
Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information while adhering to ethical standards.
Support the team in various tasks related to estate planning and family law matters.
Skills
Proficiency in Clio or similar document management systems.
Strong knowledge of estate planning, and general legal principles.
Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software applications.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with a professional demeanor.
