Law & Constitution Academy Director, Part-time
Westminster Christian Academy is currently seeking a practicing and/or licensed attorney to act as our part-time Law and Constitution Academy Director for the 2025-26 school year. Founded in 1976 as an independent, coeducational school, Westminster Christian Academy provides a comprehensive college preparatory program for 950 students in grades 7 through 12. The school is located in suburban St. Louis County, Missouri, on a 70-acre campus, 20 minutes from downtown St.
Louis.
Westminster Christian Academy honors Jesus Christ by providing an excellent education, rooted in biblical truth as interpreted by the Westminster Confession of Faith, for the children of Christian parents. Faculty and staff enable students to discover and embrace a biblical view of the world and integrate that view into every area of life.
The Westminster Christian Academy Law and Constitution Academy is a student-focused enrichment program designed to equip participants with knowledge and skills pertaining to the law, the legal process, the legal system, and the fundamental principles and values on which these are based. Students will explore essential concepts – including law, power, justice, liberty, and equality – fundamental to our constitutional democracy and to the structure and functioning of other societies.
Through activities that engage students in considering how the law and legal issues are essential to the functioning of politics, culture, and society, students will experience how the law affects them and how they, in turn, can affect the law.
The Law and Constitution Academy meets twice a week for 45-minutes, once on Wednesday afternoon and once on Thursday morning. This is a part-time, stipend-paid position. The annual stipend is $5,000.
