The Company
Friedman Vartolo LLP is a rapidly growing New York based real estate and default services law firm with 250+ employees across six states. The firm prides itself not solely on its superior legal product, but also on its innovative approach to business and problem solving. We offer a fresh, fast-paced energy, with a startup vibe.
The Position
At Friedman Vartolo LLP, we don’t just practice law – we shape the conversation around it. We believe our value to clients goes beyond the courtroom. It starts with insight: early, accurate, and actionable information about the legal developments that impact their business.
We’re building something rare – an industry-leading law firm that’s also the industry’s leading content provider. Whether it’s a shift in foreclosure procedure, a new bankruptcy ruling, or an overlooked regulation with major implications, we want our clients to hear it from us first – clearly, intelligently, and with real depth.
That’s where you come in.
We’re seeking a JD-level legal writer and researcher to anchor our content efforts. As a Legal Content Creator, you’ll dive deep into the laws that govern real estate, debt, default services, and bankruptcy – and write thoughtful, long-form pieces that help our clients understand what’s happening and why it matters.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct Primary Legal Research: Stay on top of court decisions, regulatory changes, and legislative developments across our practice areas. You’ll be our eyes and ears in the law.
Write Long-Form Articles and Insights: Draft clear, well-organized content for publication on our website, in newsletters, and across our client-facing channels.
Support Timely Legal Updates: Turn breaking news into sharp, digestible updates – quickly, and with accuracy.
Collaborate with Internal Experts: Work alongside attorneys and client relations staff to identify issues worth writing about and ensure our content stays aligned with practice realities.
Maintain a Legal Content Pipeline: Keep a steady stream of ideas and drafts moving, aligned with what’s new, what’s changing, and what clients need to know.
