Land Use Environmental Attorney Jobs in Fort Lauderdale, FL at Losh Associates
Wilson Smith Cochran Dickerson, a Seattle civil defense litigation law firm, seeks a bright, hard working LEGAL SUPPORT ASSISTANT to work with our legal teams in a variety of duties. This is a great role for someone looking to launch a career in the legal industry.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Assist with downloading and saving document productions and other documents
Drafting legal documents correspondence, and pleadings (Notice of Appearance, July Demand, E-Service agreements, etc.)
Filing in our local courts, both electronically and via US Mail.
Help with Opening and Closing files
Preparing Motion and Arbitration Notebooks
Assisting with client communications
Help with calendaring and scheduling
Assist with scanning, printing, and mailing projects
Performs other administrative and technical duties as requested.
Invoices/Checks
Preferred Qualifications:
High level of customer service
Professional services or specifically law firm experience
Proficient in Word and Outlook and solid overall computer skills
Experience with docketing software
Excellent proof-reading skills
Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
Very effective communication skills
Experienced in a team environment and multi-tasking
