This is what you will be doing:
As a Land Acquisition Paralegal, your day to day duties will include:
– Managing day-to-day Land Acquisition files under the supervision of the Legal Directors.
Opening new files, collecting title, planning, and development information, and liaising with clients.
Handling
communication
via phone, email, and fax, ensuring efficient management of incoming and outgoing correspondence.
Assisting with legal document preparation, including SDLT forms and HM Land Registry submissions.
Ensuring files are
up-to-date
and well-organized, and preparing completion statements and paperwork for finalizing transactions.
The experience you will bring to the team:
You will bring the following experience to the Land Acquisition team:
– Previous experience in a Legal Assistant or Paralegal role, ideally in Property or Land law.
A strong understanding of legal procedures related to land acquisition, conveyancing, and affordable housing.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
Proficiency in using ICT tools and software for managing documents and client information.
Strong
attention to detail
and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
