Our client is currently seeking a highly skilled and confident Mid-Level Labour & Employment Associate to join their esteemed Calgary team of legal professionals. This is an

Qualifications and Attributes:3-5 years of post-call experience in labour and employment law from a reputable national, regional, or boutique firm.

Demonstrated experience advising and representing employers across various aspects of employment and labour law, including the implications of corporate transactions and reorganizations. Experience in labour arbitrations and/or administrative tribunals is considered an asset.

Proficiency in drafting and negotiating employment contracts, as well as knowledge of executive compensation, workers’ compensation, pay equity, and employment equity

Familiarity with occupational health and safety prosecutions, human rights issues, employment standards, privacy matters, terminations, layoffs, and workplace investigations

Excellent academic credentials
