Job Overview: A well-established law firm is seeking an experienced Labor and Employment Attorney to join its Indianapolis office. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in labor and employment law, including litigation experience, and will be capable of managing multiple complex projects. Duties:
Handle a variety of labor and employment law matters, including both litigation and non-litigation services.
Lead legal cases and provide guidance on complex labor and employment issues.
Advise clients on employment law issues such as discrimination, harassment, wage and hour compliance, and wrongful termination.
Represent clients in court, arbitration, and mediation proceedings.
Draft and review employment agreements, policies, and other legal documents.
Manage and oversee multiple projects and cases, ensuring deadlines are met.
Maintain strong client relationships and provide tailored legal advice.
Collaborate with colleagues across various practice areas within the firm.
Requirements:
Experience in labor and employment law.
Superior academic credentials and strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to manage complex projects and handle a diverse caseload.
Professional, well-organized, and self-motivated with the ability to meet deadlines.
Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with clients and team members.
Education:
Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
Certifications:
Active membership in the Indiana State Bar (required).
Skills:
Expertise in labor and employment law matters.
Experience with both litigation and non-litigation legal services.
