Downtown Burlington litigation law firm seeks Office Manager/Legal Assistant. We are a growing, busy office with a mix of criminal defense and civil litigation cases.

Summary

Prior law firm experience, including working with cases in state and federal courts is required. The preferred candidate will have management and leadership experience to manage a full-time office of lawyers and assistants. The Position requires a self-starter with a strong work ethic and excellent skills in organization, writing and communication. Job responsibilities are multifaceted and include office management tasks, human resource responsibilities, clerical work and client facing communications. This position also requires the ability to navigate a fast-paced work environment along with the ability to be flexible and responsive. Conflict resolution skills are highly valued. Most importantly, a good sense of humor and high tolerance for irreverence are necessary.

Terms of Employment

Compensation is commensurate with experience;

Office hours are Monday – Friday 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.;

Employer contribution toward health insurance;

On-site Parking is included;

Paid time off starting with 7 days sick leave/vacation and increasing with seniority;
