The Fort Myers office is seeking attorneys with a minimum of 10 years of legal practice, including at least 5 years focused on construction defect matters, to join our construction defect litigation practice. Candidates must be members of the Florida Bar in good standing. Board Certification in Construction is a plus.
Requirements:
Strong legal research, writing, and persuasive oral advocacy skills
Desire to excel and advance within the firm
Excellent client service skills with a client-first approach
Highly organized with clear and concise communication
Self-starter, independent worker, goal-oriented, with long-term career focus
Licensed and in good standing with the Florida Bar
Proficiency in Word, Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, and Excel
Ability to draft and review pleadings, motions, litigation plans, and budgets
Respond to motions and discovery
Attend hearings, depositions, mediations, arbitrations, meetings, and negotiate settlements
Effective communication with team members and clients
Ability to work in a fast-paced, evolving environment
