Introduction
As a junior public affairs advisor, you’ll draw on your understanding of the political system to offer political and public policy advice to our clients. Clients may include private sector companies, trade associations, and not-for-profit organizations,
Keeping abreast of political developments and sourcing key information from personal contacts, a range of media sources and political intelligence and monitoring are key aspects of the job. You will identify key stakeholders in the decision-making process at European, national, regional and local government levels and work to maintain relationships with these individuals and to assist our clients to promote and protect their interests effectively.
Job description and tasks
 Key Responsibilities
Support the project team in the daily management of ongoing clients and projects
Work with colleagues and external partner organizations
Attend project meetings, including the drafting of minutes and reports
Desk research
Media Relations
Government Relations
Horizon scan for upcoming policy developments and activities and maintain a public affairs schedule
Prepare high-quality briefing materials for political audiences and senior internal stakeholders to support agency’s deliveries and influencing priorities
Identify opportunities and draft responses to parliamentary, government and other consultations
Monitor the activities of European Commission, European and Greek Parliaments, Ministries, Public Authorities and other relevant national and international bodies and organizations
Provide strategic communications advice
Communication
Support the drafting of content for external communication channels (e.g. newsletter and web articles), including social media;
Design and implement dissemination and exploitation strategies;
Liaise with the communication team for external dissemination

Essential qualifications and/or experience
 A degree in the field of law, political or social sciences, European studies, and/or relevant work or volunteer experience in the non-profit sector;
An excellent command of the Greek Language (spoken and written)
An excellent command of the English language (spoken and written);
A keen interest to work on a wide range of projects.

 A genuine interest in lifelong learning;
Good writing and analysis skills;
Good computer skills and digital literacy;
Experience with communication tools, such as Wordpress, Mailchimp, and Social Media;
Any transversal skills relevant to project management
