Job Overview:
The Junior / Mid-Level Finance Attorney will provide legal counsel and representation to clients in finance-related matters. They will work closely with senior attorneys and clients to ensure compliance with legal standards and regulations while also providing strategic advice.
Duties
:
Draft and review loan agreements, security documents, and other financing-related contracts.
Conduct legal research and analysis on finance laws and regulations.
Advise clients on financial transactions, including debt financing, restructuring, and acquisitions.
Negotiate terms and conditions of loan agreements and other financial arrangements.
Collaborate with internal teams and external parties to facilitate smooth financial transactions.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Law or related field.
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
Admitted to the New York State Bar.
2-4 years of experience in finance law, preferably in a law firm setting.
Proven experience representing lenders or corporate borrowers on various types of loans.
Certifications:
Admission to the New York State Bar.
Skills:
Strong understanding of finance laws and regulations.
Excellent legal research and writing skills.
Proficiency in negotiation and contract drafting.
