Eden Rose is currently engaged with a financial institution within Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC) who are seeking a Junior Legal Officer to join their legal team. The Junior Legal Officer will work closely with and report to the Senior Legal Officer, assisting in various legal and regulatory matters to ensure compliance and efficient operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct legal research, provide updates on applicable laws and regulations, and gather relevant legal information.
- Assist in drafting, proofreading, and amending contracts, letters, agreements, and other legal documents.
- Establish and maintain contracting processes and templates.
- Assist in preparing and executing board resolutions and shareholders' resolutions, ensuring regulatory compliance.
- Coordinate with external legal counsel as needed.
- Maintain electronic and physical filing systems, ensuring accurate record keeping.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for internal business teams seeking legal support.
- Update and maintain databases and tracking systems.
The Junior Legal Officer will hold a Bachelor’s degree in Law, Certification or Associate’s degree in Paralegal Studies with 1-3 years of experience in a legal role. You will have strong analytical skills with a meticulous attention to detail, ability to comprehend and interpret legal document, be fluent in English with excellent written and verbal communication skills. You will have strong organizational skills and proficiency in time management and ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
