We are looking for a Junior Legal Counsel who will provide legal support for the organization’s day-to-day operations and contribute to the successful implementation of humanitarian and charitable projects in compliance with Ukrainian legislation and Nova Ukraine’s internal policies.

What We’re Looking For:
✔ Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Law, or currently completing the final year of a law degree.
✔ Solid knowledge of Ukrainian civil and commercial law.
✔ Understanding of contract management and legal documentation processes.
✔ Ability to conduct legal research and prepare legal documents.
✔ Excellent written Ukrainian.
✔ Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and a high level of responsibility.
✔ Willingness to learn quickly and work collaboratively within a team.
✔ High ethical standards and a responsible approach to legal work.
What You’ll Do:
✔ Draft, review, and negotiate contracts (procurement, service agreements, charitable donations, contractor agreements, etc.).
✔ Prepare amendments, addenda, and other supporting legal documents.
✔ Draft official correspondence, legal responses, claims, and other legal documentation.
✔ Provide legal support to projects and advise internal teams on legal matters.
✔ Prepare legal opinions, memoranda, and analytical materials.
✔ Contribute to the development and updating of internal policies, procedures, regulations, and other governance documents.
✔ Monitor changes in legislation, conduct legal research, and assess legal risks.
✔ Support senior legal colleagues in resolving complex legal matters and participate in cross-functional legal projects.
Would be a plus:
✔ Practical experience in contract drafting and administration.
✔ English language proficiency at Intermediate (B1) level or higher.
