Legal & Compliance Functions:
- Spearhead and refine contract negotiation processes, collaborating closely with internal teams and external partners.
- Monitor and analyze contract performance, identifying risks, and crafting strategies for risk mitigation.
- Develop, implement, and uphold legal and compliance policies and procedures.
- Offer expert counsel on legal and regulatory compliance matters across the organization.
- Foster collaboration with various departments to ensure compliance with regulations such as Anti-Money Laundering and Countering Financial Terrorism, as well as relevant data protection laws.
- Stay updated on changes to laws and regulations impacting the organization, and adapt policies and training accordingly.
Project Assistance and Procurement-Related Functions:
- Manage administrative, corporate governance, and operational functions relating to FS’s Turkish subsidiary companies.
- Assist in managing corporate records and statutory filings.
- Coordinate the preparation and implementation of international and local consulting and training projects.
- Support meeting coordination, scheduling, and the preparation of project-related documentation.
- Provide professional translation and document review support.
- Manage the full procurement lifecycle, from market research and tender preparation to evaluation, negotiation, and contract award.
- Prepare tender documentation, coordinate bid evaluations, and oversee contract issuance and execution.
- Maintain comprehensive project and procurement records, prepare management reports, and provide ongoing administrative and procurement support.
Qualifications:
- Located in Ankara
- Bachelor’s degree in law
- Preferably holds a degree from a legal higher education program
- Fluent in business/legal English, written and spoken (additional languages are a plus), the interviews will be held in English
- Up to four years of relevant experience, with a background in legal and contracting procedures, preferably within a consulting capacity, preferably in an international environment
- Familiarity with contracting and legal processes of technical assistance projects of EU or other international financial institutions is advantageous
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to plan, organize, and multitask effectively
- Proactive, with a positive attitude and professional demeanour
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Team player, with no remote work option available
- Occasional domestic and international travel may be required
- Male candidates must have fulfilled or postponed (at least two years) their military service obligations
