The Opportunity

We are seeking a vibrant, dynamic and an out of the box performer to join our Rocktree team as a; Junior Legal Counsel to be based in Genoa, Italy.

Your contributions to our joint success

Supporting the legal team on Rocktree’s global projects.

Reviewing, drafting, and negotiating commercial contracts, supply agreements, and other legal documents.

Supporting regulatory compliance across jurisdictions.

Assisting with corporate governance matters.

Assisting as needed in KYC processes and other compliance verifications.

Monitoring regulatory compliance and supporting the implementation of company policies.

Assisting in litigation matters and managing potential disputes.

Handling data privacy and protection issues.

Providing legal advice to business units.

Researching international regulations.

Supporting cross border transactions, including financial transactions, M&A and other corporate projects.

Skills which will aid your success

1-3 years of professional experience preferably in a law firm or in-house.

A Law Degree (preferably with bar qualification or in the process of obtaining it).

Strong academic background.

Commercial mindset.

Detail-oriented.

Excellent English skills.

Additional language skills (e.g. Spanish) is a plus.

Team player mentality.

Experience collaborating across multiple departments and functions.

Desire to grow in a dynamic and international environment.

Exposure to technology or relevant industry sectors.

Experience working in Common Law jurisdictions.

International study or work experience is an advantage.
