Leading Investment Firm seeks a Junior Paralegal to support the General Counsel, Chief Compliance Officer and Attorneys on regulatory compliance matters.
Hybrid schedule, 4 days in-office required.
Responsibilities Include
Serve as Legal and Compliance Group coordinator for certain processes
Create, review and maintain files relating to regulatory compliance
Create, revise and maintain forms and databases relating to confidential and private information and transactions
Arrange filings, mailings and service list deliveries with appropriate courts, government agencies and other parties
Prepare electronic filings with the Securities and Exchange Commission and the National Futures Association
Execute or assist in ad hoc special projects
Requirements Include
BA / BS degree from a top university required
Excellent academic record required
1 year experience in a corporate law firm or in-house corporate environment required
Familiarity with compliance and corporate transactional functions required
