Duties
- Conduct thorough legal research to support case development across multiple practice areas

- Assist attorneys in preparing for trials, hearings, and client meetings by organizing case files and evidence
- Communicate effectively with clients in both English and Spanish to gather information and explain legal procedures
- Support negotiations with opposing parties or stakeholders to achieve favorable outcomes for clients
- Maintain accurate case records and manage legal administrative tasks efficiently within the law office system
- Stay updated on relevant laws and regulations in estate planning, immigration law, family law, workers’ compensation law, and litigation
Skills
- Fluent in both Spanish and English with excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong research skills to gather pertinent legal information
- Proficient in legal drafting and writing with attention to detail and accuracy
- Demonstrated ability to negotiate effectively on behalf of clients or the firm
- Prior experience or familiarity with legal administrative processes within a busy law office setting is preferred
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities to support complex legal issues
