Summary of Position:

We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented individual to oversee and manage the Foreclosure Default Title Department. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of the foreclosure process and be able to guide the title team in managing workloads efficiently. This role is critical to ensuring title clearance and post-sale conveyances are handled accurately and completely, with a focus on communication, leadership, and client service.

Description of Duties:

Organize, oversee, and manage the daily operations of the Foreclosure Default Title Department.
Direct workload expectations for the title team, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and accurately.
Maintain a clear understanding of the foreclosure process to ensure title clearance and post-sale conveyances are completed correctly.
Ensure the importance of complete and accurate title clearance is consistently met.
Document and communicate regularly with staff and clients regarding title-related issues and updates.
Understand and manage the assignment chain, including preparing and/or requesting assignments as needed.
Identify potential title issues and communicate them to clients for resolution.
Initiate and oversee actions for title curative and other corrective measures to address title issues.
Follow up on unresolved title issues to ensure timely resolution.
Lead and support the team, providing guidance, training, and resources to ensure high performance and collaboration.

Experience:

3 to 5 years of experience in real property title, with a focus on foreclosure and default titles.

Skills:

Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients, staff, and other stakeholders.
Highly detail-oriented, with a focus on accuracy and completeness in all tasks.
Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
Ability to work independently and take initiative to complete tasks and resolve issues.
Proven ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information responsibly.
Experience in managing teams and providing leadership and support to drive success.

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is consistently required to: walk; use hands to finger, grasp, feel objects tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; balance; stoop and consistently sit, talk or hear. Employees may be required to perform all functions on a repetitive basis. Exert up to 10 pounds of force occasionally; lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, to include the human body.

Work Schedule: The work week is typically Monday through Friday, with business hours of 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. Employees are required to be onsite 2-3 days per week following a 90-day training period and upon management approval.
