We are looking for a driven, passionate attorney to join our dedicated firm with offices in Springfield, MA and Westfield, MA. The ideal candidate would be excited to learn the skills necessary to become a well-rounded advocate and litigator. With a flexible working environment and schedule, we are looking for someone reliable, self-sufficient, and enthusiastic about building the firm’s reputation and community presence.
Dunn & Phillips, P.C. has been serving the Western Massachusetts community for over thirty years. Our firm represents a diverse client base in a variety of matters including personal injury, workers compensation, medical malpractice, real estate transactions, estate planning, and more. We are looking forward to growing the firm’s expertise and interests with the addition of a new team member.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage cases from intake until settlement or litigation
Conduct legal research, drafting pleadings, motions, and discovery responses
Complete depositions and participate in court hearings as skills develop
Collaborate with senior attorneys on case strategy and trial preparation
Monitor deadlines and maintain case files
Qualifications:
Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
Licensed to practice law in MA (or CT) or ability to obtain licensure promptly
Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Prior experience through internships, clerkships, or moot court is a plus
Compensation and benefits will be determined by experience.
