Responsibilities:
Assist in Construction Litigation – Support senior attorneys in NY Labor Law cases (Sections 200, 240, 241), focusing on construction accidents and defects.
Conduct Legal Research – Research case law and statutes to support motions and defenses in general liability and premises liability cases.
Draft Case Documents – Prepare discovery responses, pleadings, and basic motions under supervision, building your litigation skills.
Support Depositions – Assist in preparing for plaintiff and witness depositions, organizing evidence to strengthen case strategies.
Review Client Files – Analyze insurance policies and claim documents, identifying key issues for senior attorneys to address.
