Judicial Specialist Leadworker Jobs in Albuquerque, NM at New Mexico Courts

We are looking for a legal secretary to undertake a variety of administrative and clerical tasks. You will work under the supervision of an attorney and will also provide support in assigned legal cases. The goal is to sustain efficiency of all office procedures and case management so as to guarantee reliability and consistency.

Responsibilities include:

Provide administrative support to attorney.

Effectively communicate with court staff, clients, colleagues, and individuals involved in case. Make pick up and deliveries to courts, judges, and other law offices.

Greet visitors and perform initial screening of clients.

Answer phone calls, take notes/messages and redirect calls when appropriate.

Maintain and update inventories of contact details. Organize, maintain files and records to ensure everything is updated and easily accessible.

Maintain and manage schedules & calendars including scheduling appointments, court dates, and meetings.

Handle incoming and outgoing mail.

Facilitate the meeting of deadlines by keeping multiple agendas and provide timely reminders.

Have outstanding time management skills, ability to multitask and be comfortable dealing with a diverse pool of people.

Operate office equipment such as copier, fax, phone and computer. Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, Word, and Excel. Proficiency in Peach Court online filing is a plus.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 – $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
