Job Overview
We are a client-focused legal services provider seeking an Experienced Paralegal to join our growing team. This role is ideal for a highly organized, compassionate, and detail-oriented professional who is fluent in both English and Spanish, has immigration law experience, and a background in family law.
Our ideal candidate is someone who can work independently in a fast environment, communicate effectively with clients from diverse backgrounds, and is committed to providing excellent customer service while supporting attorneys in both immigration and family law cases.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist attorneys with the preparation and filing of immigration and family law petitions (I-130, I-485, I-765, I-601A, VAWA, Asylum, DS-260 and DS-160)
Conduct client intakes and maintain ongoing communication in English and Spanish
Draft affidavits, legal forms, motions, and supporting documentation
Organize, maintain, and track case files and deadlines
Liaise with USCIS, NVC and Docketwise.
Provide outstanding customer service by addressing client inquiries with empathy and professionalism
Translate documents and assist in document preparation for bilingual clients
Schedule client meetings and manage calendars for legal staff
Required Qualifications:
2+ years of experience as a paralegal in immigration law
Family law experience is strongly preferred
Fluent in English and Spanish – both written and verbal
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal case management software
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively in a high-volume environment
High attention to detail and a strong sense of responsibility
Paralegal certificate or relevant degree preferred
