Judicial Processing Specialist- Sheriff’s Office Jobs in Salt Lake City, UT at Salt Lake County
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Personal Injury Litigation Paralegal to serve as a critical member of our litigation and trial team. This role requires a proactive professional who can independently manage the coordination of trial preparation and execution, support attorneys throughout all phases of the litigation process, and ensure smooth communication between parties.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct pre-claim investigations, legal research, and initial case assessments
Draft and file pleadings, motions, discovery requests/responses, and other legal documents with the court
Manage litigation calendars, including hearings, deadlines, and depositions
Maintain organized case files, pleadings, and discovery indexes
Prepare and organize trial exhibits, evidence binders, briefs, and appendices
Assist attorneys with interrogatories, subpoenas, and other discovery efforts
Compile and analyze relevant documents and information from internal and third-party sources
Coordinate logistics between attorneys, clients, experts, and court staff
Support attorneys during trial, including voir dire, jury selection, and witness preparation
Assist with case resolution, including settlement support and post-trial filings
Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of litigation paralegal experience, preferably in a trial-focused environment
Strong working knowledge of civil litigation procedures, court rules, and e-filing practices
Demonstrated experience with trial preparation and case management
Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills in a deadline-driven setting
Excellent legal writing, research, and communication abilities
Proficiency with legal technology platforms and document management systems
Paralegal certificate is required

Pay: $65,000.00 – $75,000.00 per year
