Summary Statement
This is the full performance level of caseload management work, performing the full range of case management activities. Work may also include supervising case processing support staff.
Essential Functions

Judicial Case Processing
Review legal and court documents for completeness, accuracy, compliance, and procedural requirements.
Prepare and issue a variety of court and legal documents.
Research case files, records, and databases to ensure data accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
Enter information into manual or automated systems.
Maintain case files and records, ensuring all required documents are included.
Provide information on court procedures and case status to the public, judges, attorneys, and litigants.
Attend hearings to provide case files, records, and information; record dispositions and administer oaths.
Judicial Case Manager
Assess case filings to determine appropriate case tracks or recommend referrals.
Interpret and apply court rules, laws, and procedural requirements.
Monitor and coordinate case activities through various legal events.
Track case status, anticipate delays, and initiate actions to expedite cases.
Develop case management procedures for judges or teams.
Advise judicial officers on case events leading to final disposition.
Coordinate case activities with judicial officers, attorneys, law enforcement, and litigants.
Resolve technical processing issues through research and coordination.
Establish and maintain contacts with legal and related agencies to facilitate case flow.
Enter case data into automated systems and maintain case records.
Job Requirements
Applicants must demonstrate competence in:
Six months managing cases through the legal process.
Six months interpreting laws, rules, and policies.
Six months using automated information systems for data management.
Six months narrative report writing.
