We are seeking a Permanent Junior Partner or Senior Attorney (Trust and Estates) to join our dynamic and growing legal team. This is an exceptional opportunity for a seasoned law professional with a strong background in Trust and Estates. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a wide variety of complex trusts and estates matters, providing top-tier counsel to our clients, and contributing to the overall growth and success of our firm. You will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced partners and associates who are leaders in their field and be part of a team that is dedicated to delivering exceptional legal services.
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive legal advice on a broad range of trust and estates matters including wills, trusts, probate, and wealth management.
- Manage all aspects of client matters, including meeting with clients, drafting documents, conducting legal research, and managing case deadlines.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing them with timely and high-quality services.
- Collaborate with other attorneys and professionals to provide multi-disciplinary services to clients.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of firm strategies and initiatives.
- Participate in business development activities, including networking, publishing, and speaking engagements.
- Stay abreast of developments in trust and estates law and incorporate new knowledge into your practice.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the state bar.
- Preference given to candidates with a book of business
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in trust and estates law, with a focus on wills, trusts, probate, and wealth management.
- Proven track record of managing complex legal matters, with a strong ability to think strategically and analytically.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
- Strong business development skills, with a demonstrated ability to attract and retain clients.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a strong attention to detail.
- Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment, managing multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Strong commitment to professional development and continuous learning.
- Demonstrated commitment to ethical standards and high level of integrity.
