Overview
MYCOM CORP is seeking an ITAD & R2v3 Compliance Manager to lead the development and implementation of our IT Asset Disposition (ITAD) program and prepare the company for R2v3 certification.
This position will be responsible for establishing and maintaining ITAD processes, policies, SOPs, documentation, asset tracking, data security, environmental compliance, downstream vendor management, and audit preparation.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in ITAD, electronics recycling, asset recovery, data sanitization, or R2/R2v3 compliance and be able to work independently to build an R2v3-compliant program from the ground up.
Duties
- Lead MYCOM’s ITAD and R2v3 certification project from initial assessment through certification.
- Develop, implement, and maintain R2v3 policies, procedures, SOPs, and work instructions.
- Establish procedures for receiving, identifying, tagging, tracking, testing, grading, refurbishing, resale, and recycling of IT assets.
- Manage the chain of custody for all customer assets from receiving through final disposition.
- Establish and maintain data sanitization and data destruction procedures for hard drives, SSDs, servers, and other data-bearing devices.
- Manage and document downstream recycling vendors and ensure they meet MYCOM’s R2v3 requirements.
- Maintain required R2v3 records, certificates, manifests, vendor documentation, and audit records.
- Conduct regular internal compliance checks and identify areas requiring corrective action.
- Coordinate with R2v3 consultants, auditors, certification bodies, customers, and downstream vendors.
- Prepare MYCOM employees and documentation for R2v3 certification audits.
- Provide employee training on ITAD procedures, data security, environmental requirements, safety, and R2v3 compliance.
- Monitor compliance with applicable environmental, health & safety, and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain accurate inventory and asset disposition records using MYCOM’s ERP and tracking systems.
- Work with the warehouse and sales teams to ensure assets are properly tested, graded, documented, and processed for resale or recycling.
- Review customer requirements and ensure ITAD services meet contractual and compliance requirements.
- Investigate incidents, non-conformities, and customer complaints and implement corrective actions.
- Prepare regular reports for management regarding ITAD operations, compliance status, asset disposition, and certification progress.
- Continuously improve MYCOM’s ITAD processes to improve asset recovery value, compliance, security, and operational efficiency.
Pay: $70,000.00 – $103,145.80 per year
