Job Overview
Small law firm seeking personal injury litigation paralegal. Primary responsibilities: file management, medical records/bills requests and summaries; treatment chronologies; draft pre-suit demands; and, draft discovery requests and responses. Candidate must have personal injury litigation support experience. Experience may be for plaintiff or defense. Please submit cover letter, resume, and salary requirements. Responsibilities
Assist attorney in the preparation of legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery materials.
Conduct thorough research on relevant laws, regulations, and case law pertaining to personal injury cases.
Manage case files ensuring all documents are organized and accessible.
Maintain communication with clients, witnesses, and experts to gather necessary information and updates regarding cases.
Prepare for trials by organizing exhibits, witness lists, and other materials required for court proceedings.
Perform clerical duties including filing, scheduling appointments, and handling phone inquiries with professionalism and courtesy.
Collaborate with other legal staff to ensure efficient workflow within the law office environment.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $65,000.00 – $75,000.00 per year
