Watts & Associates is working discreetly with a highly regarded Am Law 100 international law firm seeking a 3rd to 6th year IP Litigation Associate to join its San Francisco, California office.
This is a litigation focused role supporting sophisticated patent and trade secret disputes, with an emphasis on matters involving technology, life sciences and consumer products.
The team offers a collaborative, partner led environment with structured associate development, meaningful client exposure and a strong platform for attorneys seeking to deepen their IP litigation practice. The position is expected to be in office five days per week.
The Opportunity
You will support all phases of complex IP disputes, including legal research and analysis, drafting pleadings and substantive motions, managing discovery, coordinating with experts and technical teams, and assisting with trial preparation and related hearings.
Ideal Candidate Profile
The firm is seeking a 3rd to 6th year IP Litigation Associate with:
- Experience handling intellectual property litigation, including patent and or trade secret matters
- An undergraduate degree in a hard science or life science discipline
- Strong academic credentials from law school and undergraduate studies
- Admission to the California Bar
- Excellent research, analytical, oral and written communication skills

Compensation
