Established Matrimonial/Family Law firm is seeking a CT barred attorney, to join our team in Westport, CT. Matrimonial/Family Law experience required
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide legal counsel and representation to clients involved in various types of Matrimonial and Family Law matters, including for example: divorce, alimony, child support, child custody petitions, prenuptial and postnuptial agreements, post-judgment motions, and appeals
Preparation and drafting of legal documents
Conduct legal research
Continued legal learning through participation in CLE, and Firm-sponsored educational workshops
KEY QUALIFICATIONS:
Prior experience in a divorce and family law firm setting is required
Admission to the Connecticut State Bar with membership in good standing
Demonstrated expertise in Connecticut family law statutes, regulations, and legal principles
Excellent legal writing skills
Trial and Deposition experience
Ability to manage multiple complex cases at the same time
Detail oriented
Compassionate and empathetic towards clients
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $150,000.00 – $200,000.00 per year
