An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Funds Associate (2-4 PQE) to join a leading offshore law firm in London. This role offers exposure to high-profile investment fund matters, working with a highly regarded and growing team.
The Firm
The firm’s Funds & Investment Management team is one of the largest offshore investment funds teams in London, advising a blue-chip client base of leading European fund managers and their onshore counsel. With deep expertise in Cayman Islands law, the team provides legal and regulatory advice across hedge funds, hybrid funds, and private equity funds.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a mid-level associate looking to gain exposure to some of the most sophisticated offshore funds work in the market.
The Role
The successful candidate will gain exposure to a wide range of investment fund matters, including:
Advising on the formation, structuring, ongoing legal and regulatory compliance, restructuring, and termination of Cayman Islands investment vehicles.
Working closely with European alternative investment fund managers and their onshore counsel on cross-border fund structuring.
Engaging in business development, playing an active role in promoting the firm and identifying new client opportunities.
You will work alongside market-leading partners and a highly collaborative team, benefiting from top-tier training and excellent career progression opportunities.
Key Requirements
2-4 PQE, admitted in England & Wales.
Experience in investment funds, regulatory, or corporate law, ideally from a top-tier international law firm.
Strong technical and drafting skills, with a solid academic background.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and client-driven environment.
A commercial mindset and a strong ability to build client relationships.
