Investment Associate at AINAD Capital Partners Jobs in London Area, United Kingdom at AINAD
Title: Investment Associate at AINAD Capital Partners
Company: AINAD
Location: London Area, United Kingdom
AINAD Capital Partners is the capital formation and investment platform of AINAD, focused on backing and scaling AI‑native ventures through studio‑built companies and external investments. We sit at the intersection of AI, venture capital and company‑building, partnering with exceptional founders and LPs.
The Role
We are looking for an Investment Associate to join our team and work across the full investment lifecycle. You will help source and evaluate early‑stage opportunities, support deal execution, and work closely with portfolio companies on strategy, performance and fundraising. This is a hands‑on role in a lean team, ideal for someone who wants exposure to both early‑stage investing and capital formation.
What you'll do
- Source and screen AI‑native and AI‑enabled startups through networks, events and inbound channels.
- Perform commercial, financial and market analysis on new opportunities, including building early‑stage financial and operating models.
- Support due diligence workstreams (market, product, financial, technical) and prepare clear, concise investment memos and presentations.
- Assist with deal execution, including term sheet review, transaction coordination and working with legal and external advisors.
- Track portfolio performance, maintain dashboards and support follow‑on decisions with structured analysis and insight.
- Help portfolio companies with fundraising materials, data rooms and investor outreach, in collaboration with the broader AINAD platform.
- Contribute to research and thesis development on AI trends, markets and sectors, helping refine our investment strategy.
About you
- 2–5 years’ experience in venture capital, growth/PE, investment banking, strategy consulting, or a high‑growth startup / tech company in a finance, strategy or product role.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with comfort building and interpreting financial models for early‑stage companies.
- Excellent research, writing and presentation skills; able to synthesise complex topics into clear narratives and recommendations.
- Highly organised, able to manage multiple processes and stakeholders in a fast‑moving environment.
- Genuine interest in AI, technology and early‑stage startups, with a builder’s mindset and willingness to get into the details.
- Collaborative, low‑ego teammate who is comfortable working in a small, entrepreneurial team.
What we offer
- Exposure to the full spectrum of early‑stage investing, capital formation and venture‑building in AI‑native companies.
- Close collaboration with experienced investors, operators and founders in a high‑ownership environment.
- The opportunity to grow into a more senior investing or capital formation role as the platform scales.
If this sounds like you, we’d love to hear from you. Please apply with your CV and a short note on your experience with early‑stage technology companies and why you’re excited about AI‑native ventures.
