Responsibilities

 

We are recruiting an investigative director to join us in our New York office. The successful candidate will have the following responsibilities:

Conducting investigative research and interviews

Orally briefing clients on findings and drafting written client reports

Preparing proposals and participating in business development

Assisting in the recruitment and training of additional staff

The successful candidate will contribute proactively to the growth of the firm in an entrepreneurial environment, helping to improve our client service, our skills, our productivity and the quality of our clients and assignments.

Qualifications

The successful candidate will have a minimum of five years of experience in corporate investigations or a closely related field, such as journalism or law enforcement. He or she will demonstrate the following qualities:

Attention to detail

An ability to quickly read into complex issues and summarize them in plain English

A drive to continually learn new skills

Ambition to work under pressure on high-stakes cases

Outstanding written and oral communication skills

Foreign-language fluency and professional or educational experience in law enforcement, intelligence, journalism, finance, accounting or law will be considered as well.

 

Compensation

 

The base salary for this position will be $120,000 to $150,000, depending on the successful candidate’s prior professional experience. The successful candidate will also receive an annual discretionary bonus as well as a competitive benefits package.
