The firm operates offices in London, Dublin, Belfast, Frankfurt, Naples, Milan, Tirana, Vienna, Baku, and Shanghai, employing approximately 200 professionals worldwide.
For our Baku office, centrally located in Port Baku Tower, we are currently seeking a full-time International Lawyer (m/f/d) with a strong academic and practical background in European and German law.
Your Role
You will advise international clients on cross-border legal matters and work closely with our German and international offices. Depending on your experience and interests, you will support projects relating to aviation law, commercial law, corporate law, and international transactions.
Your Responsibilities
- Advising international clients on cross-border legal matters, particularly involving European and German law
- Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts and legal documents in German and English
- Conducting legal research and preparing legal opinions on European and German legal issues
- Supporting international transactions, corporate projects, and aviation law matters
- Working closely with colleagues from our offices in Germany and other European jurisdictions
- Participating in due diligence projects and cross-border legal analyses
- Maintaining direct client contact and providing commercially focused legal advice
Your Profile
- Fully qualified lawyer or internationally qualified legal professional
- Strong knowledge of European law and German law
- LL.M. degree, preferably from a European or German university
- Ideally, completion of the First German State Examination (Erstes Staatsexamen) or another German legal qualification
- Experience or a strong interest in Aviation Law, Commercial Law, Corporate Law, or Employment Law
- Excellent English language skills and German language skills are highly desirable
- Strong analytical skills, precise legal drafting, and a pragmatic, business-oriented approach
- International mindset with excellent communication skills and the ability to work in multicultural teams
