About the Opportunity
We are exclusively instructed by a market-leading international law firm in Geneva to identify an outstanding Associate to join its International Arbitration practice.
This is an exceptional opportunity to become part of a highly regarded team recognised for advising multinational corporations, sovereign states and state-owned entities on complex international commercial and investor-State arbitrations. With a genuinely international client base and a reputation for excellence in cross-border disputes, this role offers the opportunity to work on some of the most sophisticated arbitration matters globally.
The Role
You will advise on high-value international commercial and investor-State arbitrations across a broad range of industries, including energy, infrastructure, construction, commodities, mining and natural resources.
The practice has a genuinely international caseload, regularly acting in proceedings under the ICC, ICSID, LCIA, UNCITRAL, SIAC and Swiss Arbitration Centre Rules, with arbitrations seated in Geneva, Zurich, Paris, London, Singapore, Seoul and Hong Kong.
From day one, you will work closely with experienced International Arbitration practitioners on sophisticated cross-border disputes, taking on meaningful responsibility and contributing to every stage of the arbitration process.
Candidate Requirements
The successful candidate will have:
- Swiss legal qualification.
- Between 1 and 5 years’ post-qualification experience.
- Experience in International Arbitration gained within a recognised international or specialist law firm.
- Fluency in both English and French, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Outstanding drafting, analytical and legal research skills.
- A genuine interest in developing a long-term career in International Arbitration.
