At Sibelco, we advance life through materials.

For over 150 years, we’ve been a trusted leader in sourcing, transforming, and distributing specialty industrial minerals. Our work powers progress across industries as diverse as glass, ceramics, construction, coatings, polymers, and water purification. Beyond our materials, we’re proud of our commitment to sustainability, innovation, and empowering people from all walks of life to thrive and make a meaningful impact.

Are We the Perfect Match?

At Sibelco, we believe building a successful career is a two-way journey. We’re looking for individuals who share our values and vision, just as much as you’re seeking a company that aligns with your aspirations. Together, we can shape the future.

As part of a growing team in Bilbao, the Internal Governance and Policy Advisor will be responsible for a solid, effective, and efficient Policy and Procedure Governance at Sibelco at the global level. As you will be guiding and supporting up to 14 different functions within the group in writing policies, you will need a good legal background but most importantly great communications skills at all levels of stakeholders.

This will include amongst others, taking ownership of our Policy Code, ensuring the availability and proper execution of the policies and procedures approval process, with documentation, ensuring flawless and efficient organisation of the internal Governance housekeeping, as well as supporting the VP Internal Audit in establishing and updating a number of key governance instruments, such as the Group Delegation of Authority and Segregation of Duties policies.

With a Master’s degree in Law, Business, Economy, Finance or Audit, you should have 3 to 5 years of professional experience in one or more of the following corporate areas: internal governance, policies, company law, internal audit, and enterprise risk management.

This could be a great role for someone with a legal background, keen to really understand the way an international company works and to join at junior manager level.

Experience gained preferably in a digitally mature environment, likely in the consultancy sector or an established law firm.

Having worked within an industrial environment would be a plus for this role.

What You Bring To The Table

Solid legal background, with the will to learn and grow.
