Roles & Responsibilities:
- Assist the legal team in reviewing and organising corporate, commercial, employment, intellectual property, and compliance‑related documents under supervision.
- Support contract administration activities by assisting with drafting simple documents, tracking contract status, and preparing templates or summaries for review by legal counsel.
- Assist in the implementation of Group policies and procedures by helping with documentation updates, formatting, and version control.
- Conduct basic legal research on laws, regulations, and industry guidelines relevant to the FinTech industry and prepare summaries for the legal team.
- Maintain proper filing and record‑keeping of legal documents, ensuring databases and document repositories are accurate and up to date.
- Support handling of legal and compliance queries by collating information, preparing background materials, and escalating matters to senior team members.
- Assist in liaising with internal stakeholders and external parties (e.g. banks, partners, service providers) on administrative and documentation matters related to legal processes.
Requirements:
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s Degree in Law or an equivalent qualification.
- Basic understanding of corporate law, commercial law, employment law, and regulatory compliance through coursework or training.
- Able to communicate clearly and work with internal teams and external parties under guidance.
- Willingness to learn how legal risks are managed and how legal considerations support business needs under supervision.
